Motorola has officially introduced the 2026 moto g stylus and the new moto pad in overseas markets, positioning both devices around creativity and everyday productivity.
The phone comes with a built-in active stylus that supports pressure and tilt input, which should make handwriting and sketching feel more natural. Motorola also says users can turn sketches into more polished visuals inside the Notes app, and the software can recognize and calculate handwritten math formulas directly on the device.
On the hardware side, the moto g stylus is equipped with a 50MP Sony LYTIA 700C main camera, a 13MP ultra-wide and macro camera, and a 3-in-1 light sensor. Up front, it uses a 32MP selfie camera. Motorola says all cameras support 4K video recording and enhanced stabilization, along with features like AI image optimization and hybrid zoom.
The phone also features a 6.7-inch Extreme AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1.5K resolution. Peak brightness is rated at 5,000 nits. Motorola is also advertising IP68 and IP69 protection, a 5,200mAh battery, 68W wired charging, and 15W wireless charging. It ships with Android 16 out of the box and is priced at $499.99.
As for the moto pad, Motorola is using an 11-inch 2.5K 90Hz display and a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 5G chip. The tablet also supports Smart Connect for cross-device workflows, which is meant to make it easier to work across phones, PCs, and other connected devices.
Other listed specs for the tablet include quad speakers with Dolby audio, a 7,040mAh battery, and 20W fast charging. Motorola has priced it at $249.99. Taken together, the two devices look like a fairly straightforward attempt to cover casual creation, note-taking, and light work without pushing into flagship pricing.
