Nothing Phone 4a and Nothing Phone 4a Pro have now been introduced in China, with local pricing starting at 3,299 yuan. Based on photos shared from the launch event, the company is bringing both new phones to market alongside the new Nothing Headphone a over-ear headphones.
The standard Nothing Phone 4a in a 12GB + 256GB configuration is priced at 3,299 yuan, while the Nothing Phone 4a Pro with the same memory and storage setup comes in at 4,199 yuan. Both phones are scheduled to go on sale on March 29 through Nothing’s overseas flagship online store.
Nothing is also launching the Headphone (a) in China at 1,699 yuan, with a first-sale promotional price of 1,299 yuan. Sales for the headphones are set to begin on March 23.
On the hardware side, the regular Phone (4a) keeps the brand’s recognizable design language and uses a 6.78-inch 120Hz OLED display. Around the back, it features a 50MP main camera, a 50MP 3.5x periscope telephoto camera, and an ultrawide camera. It also uses a square-shaped Glyph lights bar placed beside the camera module, and brightness is said to reach as high as 3,500 nits.
The Pro model pushes things a bit further with a 6.83-inch 144Hz OLED display and a body that Nothing describes as the thinnest full-metal phone currently on the market, measuring 7.95mm thick. Its rear camera setup includes a 50MP Sony LYT700C main sensor, a 50MP 3.5x periscope telephoto camera with zoom reaching up to 140x, plus an ultrawide camera.
One of the biggest visual differences on the Pro version is the new Glyph lights Matrix system. Nothing says it uses 137 mini LEDs and can show widgets like a battery indicator, timer, and digital clock. That gives the Pro model a more functional take on the company’s signature lighting design instead of using it only for visual flair.
As for chipsets, the standard Phone (4a) uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 series with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4, while the Pro model steps up to the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4. Both devices include 5,080mAh batteries and support 50W wired charging.
The new Headphone (a) arrives in black, white, pink, and yellow. It keeps the industrial-style design language seen on Nothing’s earlier audio gear and adds separate wheel, paddle, and button controls. It can even be used as a remote shutter control for taking photos. Specs include a 40mm driver, LDAC support, dynamic ANC, IP52 protection, and battery life that can reach up to 135 hours with active noise cancellation turned off. Users can also tune the sound through the Nothing X app.
