OPPO K15 Pro series launches with Dimensity 8500 SUPER and 9500s chips, 144Hz to 165Hz displays, and pricing from 2,999 yuan

OPPO has officially introduced the OPPO K15 Pro series, splitting the lineup into the K15 Pro and K15 Pro+. The standard model uses MediaTek’s Dimensity 8500 SUPER platform, while the higher-tier Pro+ moves up to the newer Dimensity 9500s chip. Pricing for the family starts at 2,999 yuan.

For the K15 Pro, the 12GB + 256GB light package is priced at 2,999 yuan, dropping to 2,899 yuan during the first seven days of sales. OPPO also lists a standard 12GB + 256GB version at 3,199 yuan and a 12GB + 512GB version at 3,499 yuan. For the K15 Pro+, the 12GB + 256GB light package starts at 3,499 yuan, with the standard 12GB + 256GB version priced at 3,699 yuan and the 12GB + 512GB version going up to 4,199 yuan.

Design is a major part of the marketing pitch here. OPPO says the OPPO K15 Pro comes in Cyber Light Wing, Stardust Pink, and Origin Gray, plus a special forged-carbon inspired finish called Golden Legend. The company also highlights an upgraded breathing light, customizable lighting effects, a very slim card-style camera module, a metal frame, and support for magnetic DIY lens covers.

Audio and handling are also getting a lot of attention. OPPO says the K15 Pro uses a new stereo speaker system tuned with Xinghai Conservatory of Music, while the phone itself is built around a 6.59-inch display size that aims to balance immersion and comfort. The screen supports a 144Hz refresh rate, and the phone also includes a pro-level gyroscope for gaming and more responsive motion control.

Thermals and durability are another focus. OPPO says the K15 Pro carries a new cooling engine with upgraded airflow channels and cooling fins, plus triple dust-protection reinforcement. The company claims the device passed an IP69 dust and water resistance test, while keeping intake openings to under 1mm and maintaining low fan noise at partial speed.

Camera hardware on the K15 Pro includes a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization, along with an upgraded ultra-wide camera and imaging features such as live collage shooting. The phone also runs the new ColorOS 16 system and supports device-sharing and migration features across phones, watches, and earbuds inside OPPO’s ecosystem.

The OPPO K15 Pro+ pushes the hardware further with a 6.78-inch screen and a 165Hz display mode for several popular mobile games. OPPO also says it uses a higher-end speaker structure with four sound units, a dedicated touch-control chip, customizable side controls, 3D ultrasonic fingerprint recognition, and the Dimensity 9500s platform. Overall, the K15 Pro range looks like OPPO’s attempt to blend gaming performance, flashy design, and aggressive pricing into a more enthusiast-leaning mid-to-upper-tier lineup.
