Xiaomi has officially started teasing the REDMI K90 Max, confirming that the phone will arrive later this month as the first Max model in the REDMI K series.
The teaser positions the device very clearly as a performance-focused phone. According to the announcement, the REDMI K90 Max will feature Xiaomi’s first active air-cooling solution for a phone, a new dual-chip performance setup, and a 165Hz high-refresh gaming display.
That combination points to a product aimed squarely at users who care about sustained frame rates, heat control, and fast touch-heavy gameplay rather than just peak benchmark numbers. Active cooling remains relatively uncommon in mainstream smartphones, so its appearance here helps set the K90 Max apart from more conventional flagship releases.

Previous reports claimed that an upcoming Dimensity 9500-powered handset from a major brand would use a 1.5K 165Hz LTPS screen, an independent display chip, an active cooling fan, and a symmetrical narrow-bezel front design with flat visual edges.
Those earlier details also mentioned a battery capacity beginning with the number 8, a relatively large vibration motor, custom-tuned symmetrical stereo speakers, an ultrasonic fingerprint solution, and IP68 dust and water resistance.
