Samsung Display may supply M16 OLED panels to future Apple and Google phones in 2026

Samsung Display is reportedly preparing to ship its latest M16 OLED material set to both Apple iPhone and Google Pixel devices in the second half of 2026.

A report from Korean outlet ETNews says the new panel stack could be used across Apple’s high-end 2026 phone lineup, including the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and a higher-tier model that may launch as either iPhone Ultra or a foldable iPhone.

The same report says Google’s Pixel 11 series is also expected to adopt panels based on the M16 OLED system. The material set is described as an upgrade in brightness, color performance, lifespan, and power efficiency.

On the supply side, the M16 stack is said to rely on materials from companies including Samsung SDI, LG Chem, and DS Neolux. That makes the story notable not just as a product rumor, but also as a signal about where the premium OLED supply chain is moving next.

ETNews adds that the previous-generation M14 material set first appeared in the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max before expanding to the full iPhone 17 family. If that pattern continues, M16 could mark the next major display step for flagship phones in 2026.

Nothing is official yet, of course, but the report fits the broader industry push toward panels that deliver more brightness and better efficiency without giving up durability. For brands trying to balance thin hardware with battery life, those gains matter a lot.

If the report holds up, Samsung Display would remain a central supplier for both Apple iPhone and Google Pixel hardware, while M16 OLED becomes one of the key display upgrades to watch in the 2026 flagship cycle.
