Samsung may add a new Warranty & Care hub in One UI 9 for repairs, cost estimates, and service tracking

Samsung may be getting ready to make after-sales support a lot less fragmented. A new report from Android Authority says code found in an early One UI 9 build points to a new Warranty & Care app designed to act as a single service hub for Galaxy devices.

According to the report, the app does not appear in the normal app drawer yet and currently has to be launched with a specific system command. That usually suggests Samsung is still building the feature behind the scenes rather than preparing it for immediate public release.

If it ships in its current direction, the new app could bring several support tools into one place. The code reportedly points to warranty-status lookup, a troubleshooting search bar, repair price estimates, service-center booking, and live tracking for repair or claim progress.

Samsung also appears to be connecting the experience with tools users may already know. The app is said to include a shortcut into Samsung Members for hardware diagnostics, and future integration may extend to Bixby and live customer support. In practice, that could let users try self-diagnosis or remote help before committing to an in-store repair visit.

Right now, though, it still looks early. The report says buttons such as Ask Bixby and Request Repair do not respond yet, and even the onboarding prompt asking for calendar access seems to be only a placeholder at this stage.

Even so, the idea is pretty straightforward: instead of bouncing between different menus, websites, and support tools, Galaxy owners could get a more centralized service experience inside One UI 9. If Samsung follows through, Warranty & Care could end up being one of the more practical quality-of-life additions in the next major software release.
