vivo has shared a final configuration recap for the upcoming vivo X300s and vivo X300 Ultra, giving a clearer picture of how the company is splitting its spring flagship strategy between imaging power and top-end performance.
According to the summary posted by vivo product manager Han Boxiao, the vivo X300 Ultra is being positioned as a serious camera-led flagship. The device is said to feature a ZEISS-focused imaging system with 14mm ultra-wide, 35mm documentary-style, and 85mm long-focus lenses, along with what vivo describes as dedicated extender options, full-range OIS video stabilization, 4K 120fps 10-bit Log recording, and multiple portrait and film-style shooting modes.
On the hardware side, the Ultra model is expected to use the fifth-generation Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, a 2K ZEISS master color display with 144Hz refresh support, a body as thin as 8.19mm, 100W wired charging, 40W wireless charging, and a high-end audio and vibration setup aimed at premium flagship buyers.
The vivo X300s, meanwhile, looks like the more performance-forward option. vivo says it will pair the Dimensity 9500 with the V3+ imaging chip, a 6.78-inch ZEISS master color flat display, 144Hz refresh rate, symmetrical dual speakers, a large 7100mAh battery, a sizable VC cooling system, and version 3.0 of its signal enhancement system.
Even so, vivo isn’t presenting the X300s as a stripped-down side model. The company is still highlighting imaging-related features such as Blueprint Native Color, portrait tuning, and film looks, which suggests both phones will lean heavily on camera branding even if the Ultra takes things further.
The launch event is scheduled for March 30 in Lijiang, Yunnan. Based on the current teaser cycle, vivo is expected to announce the vivo X300 Ultra, vivo X300s, and the Pad6 Pro together, with retail availability tipped for April 3.
