A new iQOO Neo-class phone is rumored to pair a 6.83-inch 2K LTPS display with flagship-tier chips

A fresh leak from tipster Digital Chat Station points to two new upper-midrange phones built around a large 2K LTPS display, and one of them is widely expected to belong to the iQOO Neo family. While the post didn’t name the exact models, the combination of specs and follow-up discussion has already pushed attention in that direction.

According to the leak, both devices use a 6.83-inch flat panel with a very high refresh rate. The screen is said to adopt an eye-friendlier 2K LTPS display solution rather than the more common trade-offs seen in this price tier, and that alone is being framed as the biggest differentiator compared with rival phones in the same class.

The rest of the hardware picture sounds more premium than typical midrange positioning. The leak claims the phones are being tested with either Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite platform or MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500, while also featuring metal middle frames, battery designs in the “8-series” silicon range, and 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensors.

When one user asked directly whether the display was really LTPS, the tipster answered yes and added that this approach should be better for eye comfort. That response matters because screen type has become one of the more closely watched trade-offs in performance-focused phones, especially when brands try to balance resolution, efficiency, and panel quality without pushing prices too high.

IT Home also noted that iQOO is about to launch the Z11 series on March 26, with the company already teasing a 9,020mAh battery and a 165Hz eye-care gaming display for that lineup. Even so, the newly leaked 6.83-inch 2K device appears to be a separate product path. If the speculation is right, the next iQOO Neo model could be shaping up as a more display-focused performance phone than expected.
