A fresh leak out of China says the OnePlus Ace6 Supreme Edition could arrive with some seriously aggressive hardware for the performance-phone crowd. According to a post from tipster Panda is Bald, the device is expected to pair a huge 8500mAh battery with a 165Hz display and MediaTek’s upcoming Dimensity 9500 processor.
That combination would give the rumored phone a very clear identity. On paper, it looks aimed at users who care most about battery life, sustained gaming performance, and an extremely fast screen, rather than just chasing a thin-and-light design.
The report also lines up with another recent claim from Digital Chat Station, who said two new “Supreme Edition” phones are getting ready to compete head-to-head. Both models were described as using the Dimensity 9500, both were said to feature batteries starting with an 8, and both were tipped to use flat 165Hz display panels. The main differences would reportedly come from secondary hardware and extra features.
Based on earlier rumors and discussion around those leaks, the two devices are widely expected to be the OnePlus Ace6 Supreme Edition and the Redmi K90 Supreme Edition from Xiaomi’s side. IT Home didn’t claim that as official confirmation, but that’s the direction current speculation is moving in.
For context, the regular OnePlus Ace 6 launched in October last year. That phone came with a 165Hz high-refresh-rate screen, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite platform, a 7800mAh battery, and 120W fast charging. It started at 2,599 yuan for the 12GB + 256GB version and was positioned as a battery-heavy performance model in its segment.
If the new leak is accurate, the rumored 8500mAh battery would push the next Supreme Edition even further in that direction. It would also suggest that OnePlus is continuing to treat battery size as a major selling point in this product line rather than a secondary spec.
There’s still no official launch date yet, and the current information remains at the rumor stage. Even so, the spec mix being discussed already makes this one of the more attention-grabbing upcoming Android phone leaks tied to an April release window.
