OnePlus Nord 6 officially teased for overseas markets, Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 expected

OnePlus India has started teasing a new Nord phone on X, and all signs point to the upcoming OnePlus Nord 6. The company didn’t spell out the full model name in its teaser, but the timing lines up with earlier reports that the next Nord release is getting close.

Based on an earlier tip from leaker Yogesh Brar cited by IT Home, the OnePlus Nord 6 could arrive in early April. The phone is expected to use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip and may stay fairly close to the hardware package seen on the China-market Turbo 6, though overseas pricing could end up a bit higher.

There’s also benchmark evidence that supports that direction. A OnePlus handset carrying model number CPH2795 recently appeared in the Geekbench database, and Notebookcheck believes that device is the OnePlus Nord 6. The benchmark listing is said to show the same Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 platform tied to the earlier leak.

Another model has surfaced as well. A separate OnePlus phone with model number CPH2805 has already passed India’s BIS certification, and current speculation says that device will launch as the OnePlus Nord CE 6. If that report holds up, it may end up being a renamed version of the Turbo 6V rather than the main Nord 6 model.

Put together, the teaser, the benchmark listing, and the certification filing suggest OnePlus is getting ready to refresh multiple parts of its Nord lineup in India. The biggest thing to watch now is whether the final retail hardware stays as close to the rumored China-market counterpart as current leaks suggest.
