vivo sets March 30 launch event for the X300 Ultra, X300s, and Pad6 Pro

vivo has officially locked in its next big spring product event for March 30, with the presentation scheduled to start at 7:00 p.m. in Lijiang, Yunnan. Based on the company’s own teaser and the latest round of leaks, the spotlight is expected to land on the vivo X300 Ultra, the vivo X300s, and the Pad6 Pro.

The current expectation is that all three products will be introduced on March 30 and then go on sale on April 3. That gives vivo a pretty clear launch window, and it also lines up with the pace of recent pre-release teasers around the new X-series phones.

vivo product manager Han Boxiao also revealed the appearance of the X300 Ultra and X300s, showing both phones in a new film-green finish. He described the X300 Ultra as a “professional V camera” and the X300s as a more compact but still highly capable companion model.

According to Han, the project was never meant to follow the usual smartphone formula. He said the phones were developed with a stronger camera-first mindset across hardware choices, photography, video, color tuning, and image quality, with the goal of blending phone convenience and camera-style output in a more complete way.

On the imaging side, both models are said to support a long-range zoom enhancement mode. vivo also says the Ultra version will introduce a new “Cannon 400” capability, while the entire lineup supports a new “Lipstick 200” feature. Those names are still teaser language for now, but they clearly show vivo is leaning hard into camera branding ahead of launch.

Leaker Digital Chat Station added more claimed hardware details. The vivo X300 Ultra is rumored to use a 2K 144Hz display, a Snapdragon 8E5 chip, dual 200-megapixel large-sensor imaging hardware, and a battery around 660mAh. The vivo X300s is rumored to feature a 1.5K 144Hz display, a Dimensity 950 processor, a 200-megapixel large sensor, dual stereo speakers, a large vibration motor, and a 710mAh battery.

The upcoming vivo Pad6 Pro is also expected to be part of the same launch event, with leaked specs pointing to a 13.2-inch 4K display, a Snapdragon 8E5 chip, and a 13000mAh battery. If those details hold up, vivo is preparing a fairly broad spring refresh instead of a single-device announcement.

For now, the company has only formally confirmed the event timing, but the surrounding teasers make this one of the more notable late-March phone launches to watch.
