vivo shows off the X300 Ultra and X300s in a new Film Green finish

vivo has given its upcoming vivo X300 Ultra and vivo X300s another round of pre-launch attention, this time by showing off both phones in a new Film Green color option. The images were shared by vivo product manager Han Boxiao, who presented the two models together and framed them as devices built with a much stronger camera identity than a typical smartphone.

According to Han, the vivo X300 Ultra is positioned as a “professional V camera,” while the vivo X300s is being pitched as a more compact but still camera-focused counterpart. He said the project did not follow the usual smartphone route from the beginning, and that the team brought camera-style thinking into hardware choices, photography, video, color tuning, and overall image quality.

That design direction also shows up in the way vivo is describing the hardware. Han said both new phones are meant to combine smartphone usability with the feel of a more serious camera product. The two models are both said to support a long-range zoom enhancement mode. On top of that, the Ultra version is expected to feature a new “Cannon 400” imaging capability, while the full lineup will support a new “Lipstick 200” feature.

Earlier reports referenced by IT Home said the vivo X300 Ultra, vivo X300s, and vivo Pad6 Pro are expected to debut on March 30 and go on sale on April 3. That timeline lines up with vivo’s broader spring launch buildup around the X series.

The same report also cites fresh details from tipster Digital Chat Station. Based on that leak, the vivo X300 Ultra may use a 2K 144Hz display, a Snapdragon 8E5 processor, dual 200-megapixel large-sensor imaging hardware, and a battery rated at around 660mAh.

For the vivo X300s, the leak points to a 1.5K 144Hz display, a Dimensity 950 chip, a 200-megapixel large sensor, symmetrical stereo speakers, a large vibration motor, and a 710mAh battery. The report adds that the vivo Pad6 Pro could arrive with a 13.2-inch 4K display, a Snapdragon 8E5 processor, and a 13000mAh battery.

None of those leaked specifications have been officially confirmed by vivo yet, but the company’s latest teaser makes one thing pretty clear: camera styling and visual identity are going to be a big part of how it markets the new lineup, and the Film Green finish is now part of that story.
