A new report from GSMArena says OPPO is getting ready to launch the global version of the OPPO A6c, and it may end up looking quite different from the model sold in China. The changes reportedly go beyond the back design and extend into the hardware itself.
According to the report, the China-market A6c is basically a rebadged A6x 4G. Both phones use the Snapdragon 685 and mainly differ in rear-panel styling. The upcoming global model, though, is said to take a different path with a new look and a more noticeable spec adjustment.
The leaked configuration points to a 6.75-inch IPS LCD panel with a 120Hz display refresh rate and a waterdrop notch design. Up front, the phone is expected to use a 5MP selfie camera.
Other reported specs include a 7000mAh battery, 15W charging, a Unisoc T615 processor, a 13MP rear main camera, and Android 16 out of the box. The phone is also said to come in white, brown, and purple color options.
For reference, IT Home previously noted that the China version uses a 6.75-inch 120Hz panel with a punch-hole design, a 5MP front camera, 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, IP64 protection, and a 6500mAh battery, with pricing starting at 799 yuan. If this leak is accurate, the global OPPO A6c won’t just be a renamed regional variant — it could be a fairly different budget phone altogether.
