Lenovo confirms first large foldable razr fold for May launch with Moto Pen Ultra AI support

Lenovo has officially teased its first large-format foldable phone, the razr fold, and says the device is scheduled for a May launch.

In the company’s preview material, one of the headline features is support for the Moto Pen Ultra with AI-assisted handwriting workflows, positioning the device as both a creative and productivity-focused foldable.

Lenovo also points to integration with its Tianxi Claw feature set, suggesting the phone will be part of a wider AI software experience rather than a hardware-only update.

As background, the razr fold was previously introduced at MWC 2026. Reported specs include Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip, 16GB of RAM, a 6000mAh battery, 80W wired charging, and 50W wireless charging.

Display hardware is also positioned at the high end: an 8.09-inch inner LTPO panel at 2882 x 2232 and 120Hz, plus a 6.56-inch cover display at 2520 x 1080 and up to 165Hz.

The device is said to use Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 3 and measures about 9.9mm when folded and 4.6mm when unfolded, with a listed weight around 244g.

Camera details reported by IT Home include dual front cameras (32MP on the cover side and 20MP on the inner side) and a triple rear setup with a 50MP main sensor, 50MP ultra-wide, and a 50MP 3x periscope telephoto lens.

Overseas pricing previously cited for the model is 1,999 euros, placing it firmly in the premium foldable tier where design, display quality, and multitasking experience are central buying factors.

With a confirmed May timing and stylus-focused positioning, Lenovo appears to be pushing this model as a true flagship productivity foldable rather than just another form-factor experiment.
