TCL CSOT supplies displays for REDMI K90 Max, REDMI K Pad 2, and REDMI Pad 2 SE

TCL CSOT says it is supplying the display panels used in three newly announced REDMI products: the REDMI K90 Max, the REDMI K Pad 2, and the REDMI Pad 2 SE. The update gives a clearer look at how Xiaomi’s REDMI lineup is leaning on TCL CSOT across both phones and tablets.

According to details shared by TCL CSOT and cited by IT Home, the REDMI K90 Max uses a 6.83-inch 1.5K LTPS panel built on the company’s C10 EL material system. The screen supports adaptive refresh rates up to 165Hz, which is meant to keep gameplay, fast scrolling, and general system interaction looking smooth without obvious drag or stutter.

One of the more notable display claims is support for 1 nit low brightness, alongside a stated 25 percent 3500-nit excitation brightness figure and DCI-P3 wide color gamut coverage. In practical terms, that points to a screen that aims to stay comfortable in darker conditions while still pushing strong brightness when needed.

TCL CSOT also said it supplies the 8.8-inch panel used in the REDMI K Pad 2. That screen comes in at 3008 by 1880 resolution with 403 PPI and a 16:10 aspect ratio. It also supports up to 165Hz refresh rates, DCI-P3 wide color coverage, and 1100 nits of HBM peak brightness for better visibility outdoors.

For the REDMI Pad 2 SE, the article says the tablet uses a 9.7-inch 2K bright display paired with a 120Hz refresh rate, 250 PPI, and a 16:10 viewing ratio. IT Home also notes a 600-nit brightness figure and TÜV Rheinland flicker-free eye-comfort certification.

TCL CSOT described its relationship with REDMI as a long-running partnership that started with foundational panel supply and has since expanded into exclusive sourcing for some small and mid-size tablet displays. That makes this less of a one-off supply note and more of a sign that the two companies are deepening their hardware collaboration.
