A fresh leak shared by @Evleaks on X offers an early look at the upcoming Moto G87, including several renders that show Motorola sticking with its familiar design language while refreshing both the camera story and the color lineup.

From the images, the phone keeps a flat display with rounded corners on the front, while the back panel uses a square camera island set into the upper-left corner. The standout hardware detail is a 200MP camera, which appears to serve as the main rear sensor.

The rest of the physical layout looks straightforward: volume and power buttons sit on the right side, the SIM tray is placed on the left, and the bottom edge keeps the microphone, USB-C port, and speaker cutouts. Overall, it looks like Motorola is refining a layout users already know rather than trying to reinvent it.

The leak shows two Pantone-branded finishes called Overture Gray and Blue Atoll. It also says Motorola is expected to add more color options, including Arctic Seal, Black Olive, Nile, and Shaded Spruce.
As for core hardware, the report says the phone will use a Dimensity 6000 chip, though the exact model hasn’t been pinned down yet. The expected memory and storage setup is 8GB of RAM with 256GB of internal storage, putting the device squarely in the mainstream midrange segment.
At this stage, the leak doesn’t go much further on pricing or launch timing, but the render set suggests Motorola is preparing the Moto G87 as a feature-forward midrange phone built around imaging, recognizable styling, and a wider-than-usual color selection.
