realme has officially outlined its realme UI 7.0 stable rollout plan, saying the new software will begin reaching eligible phones in waves starting May 20. The company also used the announcement to tease a few of the headline features it wants to highlight in this release.
According to realme, one of the most visible additions is a new lock-screen island experience. The company is also introducing an AI translation tool aimed at travelers, with a menu-translation feature designed to make it easier to read restaurant menus when you’re abroad.
The first rollout window runs from May 20 through May 31. During that period, the update is scheduled to begin arriving on these models: realme GT8 Pro, realme GT8, realme Neo8, realme GT7 Pro, realme GT7 Pro Racing Edition, realme GT7, realme Neo7, realme Neo7 Turbo, realme Neo7 SE, realme GT5 Pro, and realme GT6.
realme notes that this is a staged deployment schedule, which means the listed dates refer to the start of the rollout rather than the moment every user will get the update. In other words, even if a device is on the list, availability may still vary depending on region, batch timing, and the company’s release process.
For users who want to check sooner, realme says they can manually look for the update by going to Settings, then System & Updates, and then Software Update. That’s a small detail, but it’s useful for people who don’t want to wait for the automatic push notification.
Overall, the announcement is fairly straightforward: realme UI 7.0 is on the way, the stable rollout starts May 20, and realme is positioning this release around smarter interface touches and practical travel-friendly tools like AI translation.
