A fresh leak suggests the upcoming OPPO K15 could focus heavily on battery life while still keeping a fairly mainstream phone design. The information comes from tipster Panda is Bald, who shared several core specs and said the device, or a closely related variant, is expected to launch soon.

Based on the leak, the phone is said to feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPS flat display. That points to a large screen with a straightforward panel design rather than a curved flagship-style approach. The report also claims the handset will carry an 8,000mAh battery paired with 80W charging, which would make battery capacity one of the main selling points of the device.

The same leak says the phone measures 8.8mm thick, weighs 213 grams, and uses a 2.6GHz processor. There is still no official confirmation on the exact chip name, so that part remains unclear for now.

As a point of comparison, OPPO launched the K15 Pro series in April. Those models reportedly use Dimensity 8500 SUPER and Dimensity 9500s chips depending on version, with starting prices from 2,999 yuan and introductory pricing from 2,899 yuan.

The existing K15 Pro features a 6.59-inch 144Hz display and includes a professional-grade gyroscope together with what OPPO describes as a next-generation cooling engine. The K15 Pro+ moves up to a 6.78-inch 165Hz display, supports native 165fps gameplay in several popular mobile games, and adds 3D ultrasonic fingerprint recognition.

If this new leak is accurate, the standard OPPO K15 may carve out its own place in the lineup by emphasizing endurance first. A large display, very high-capacity battery, and fast charging combination would make it especially appealing to people who care more about all-day runtime than chasing ultra-premium flagship extras.
