vivo T5x 5G is now official in India, where vivo is positioning it as a midrange phone built around battery life and practical everyday hardware. The new model combines the Dimensity 7400 Turbo platform with a very large 7200mAh battery, making endurance one of the clearest selling points right out of the gate.
The phone measures 166 x 78.43 x 8.3mm and weighs 219 grams. Up front, it uses a centered punch-hole display with a relatively thick bottom bezel. vivo has gone with a 6.76-inch 1080p LCD panel that supports a 120Hz refresh rate and reaches up to 1,200 nits of peak brightness. Buyers can choose between Starry Silver and Cyber Green finishes.
For performance, the device runs on MediaTek’s Dimensity 7400 Turbo chip built on a 4nm process. Memory and storage go up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, which should be enough for typical multitasking, gaming, and day-to-day app use in this segment.
Camera hardware is fairly straightforward. On the back, the phone includes a 50MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture alongside a 2MP depth sensor. The front camera is a 32MP shooter, giving the device a higher-resolution selfie setup than many budget and lower-midrange rivals.

Battery capacity is where the spec sheet really stands out. vivo says the 7200mAh battery can deliver up to two days of light to moderate use, and the phone supports 44W wired fast charging. That kind of battery size is still unusual in the mainstream market, especially paired with a 120Hz display.
Other features include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, and a USB Type-C 2.0 port. The phone ships with OriginOS 6 based on Android 16, and vivo says buyers will get two years of major OS upgrades plus four years of security updates.
Pricing starts at 18,999 Indian rupees for the 6GB + 128GB version, which works out to roughly 1,418 yuan at the exchange rate cited in the source report. Taken as a whole, the vivo T5x 5G looks designed for buyers who want a large screen, dependable midrange performance, and especially long battery life without moving into premium pricing.
