iPhone 18 Pro Cases Hint at an Even Bigger Camera Bump

A new case leak shared by tipster Majin on X is offering an early look at what accessory makers may be preparing for Apple’s next high-end phones. The first batch of protective cases for the iPhone 18 Pro series suggests the overall design may stay familiar, but one detail could still change in a noticeable way.

Based on the leaked images and earlier supply-chain chatter cited by IT Home, Apple may adjust its release rhythm for the iPhone 18 lineup. This fall could focus on the Pro models and a possible foldable or Ultra-branded device, while the standard iPhone 18 may not arrive until spring next year.

The biggest takeaway from the images is the rear camera layout. The module already appears to take up roughly a quarter of the back panel, and the latest rumor says the camera bump could grow even larger. If that happens, it may also add thickness and make older-generation cases incompatible with the new phone.

Other leaked details point to a 6.3-inch display for the Pro and a 6.9-inch screen for the Pro Max, which would keep them close to the expected sizing of the prior generation. In other words, the iPhone 18 Pro may look more like a refined hardware step than a total redesign, with the enlarged camera area standing out as one of the more practical changes users would actually notice.
