Xiaomi has officially confirmed that the Xiaomi 17T series will launch globally on May 28, calling it the biggest T-series upgrade the company has made so far. The announcement was posted on X, while additional details cited by IT Home suggest China could receive closely related domestic versions rather than identical international models.

According to earlier leaks mentioned in the source report, the standard model is expected to use a 6.59-inch 1.5K 120Hz flat OLED display and a 32MP front camera. On the back, it reportedly pairs a 50MP Light Hunter 800 main camera with a 12MP ultra-wide lens and a 50MP 5x telephoto camera, with Leica branding still part of the package.

That model is also said to run on the Dimensity 8500 Ultra chip, along with a 6,500mAh battery and 67W wired charging. If those specs hold, Xiaomi would be aiming for a balance between battery life, imaging, and mainstream flagship-level performance.

The higher-end version is tipped to feature a 6.83-inch 1.5K 144Hz flat OLED panel, another 32MP selfie camera, and a rear setup built around a 50MP Light Hunter 950 primary sensor, plus a 12MP ultra-wide and a 50MP 5x telephoto camera. Leica tuning is again expected to remain in place.

For power and endurance, that device is rumored to combine the Xiaomi 17T series upper-tier configuration with a Dimensity 9500 processor, a 7,000mAh battery, 100W wired charging, and 50W wireless charging. Xiaomi has not confirmed the full spec sheet yet, but the early hardware outline points to a more aggressive upgrade cycle than usual for the T line.
