vivo has started warming up the vivo S60 series with a feature set that leans heavily into everyday usability rather than just headline specs. Company product manager Han Boxiao said the new lineup will be the only one in its class to offer a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint solution across every model in the family.

According to vivo, the new 3D ultrasonic fingerprint 2.0 system can recognize a print in as little as 0.1 seconds and finish enrollment in about one second. The company framed that as part of a broader effort to bring flagship-style hardware into the real high-frequency scenarios users deal with every day.

IT Home also notes that the entire range is expected to ship with a 7200mAh battery, which vivo describes as a slim Blue Ocean battery design. The phones are said to support 90W fast charging and global direct-drive power delivery, suggesting the brand is trying to pair very large capacity with fast top-ups and more stable power behavior.

Beyond that, the lineup is tipped to include IP68 and IP69 protection, stereo speakers, infrared remote control support, and an X-axis linear motor. Those additions make the S60 family sound less like a narrow style-focused release and more like a broadly equipped upper-midrange lineup.

Han also shared a bit of design detail, saying the white version uses a silver-white base inspired by summer light reflecting off the sea, along with a large one-piece cold-carved glass panel on the back. More official details should follow as vivo continues building toward the launch.
