Motorola has officially introduced the Moto Razr 70 Ultra during Lenovo’s current Tianxi AI multi-device launch event in China, where the company positioned the new foldable as its latest premium flip-style smartphone. Pricing starts at 7,499 yuan.
From a hardware standpoint, the phone focuses heavily on display quality. Motorola says the device pairs a 4-inch external screen with a 165Hz refresh rate and a larger 7-inch inner display that also runs at 165Hz. The internal panel carries a 1.5K resolution, and the company claims peak brightness can reach 5,000 nits.
The design also gets a material and color refresh. According to the announcement, the handset comes in finishes translated from the Chinese launch materials as sandal-brown wood and a soft purple option, while using Motorola’s seventh-generation hinge design for the folding mechanism.
Camera hardware is another headline feature. Motorola says the phone includes a triple 50MP imaging setup and highlights what it describes as the first LOFIC sensor used in a foldable phone. The announcement did not go deep into every camera role, but it clearly places imaging among the device’s premium selling points.
Inside, the Moto Razr 70 Ultra is equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chip and a 5000mAh battery, giving the phone flagship-class positioning on both performance and endurance.
