Honor has started previewing a new accessory for the Honor 600 series before the phone lineup debuts on May 25. The add-on is a magnetic secondary screen that snaps onto the back of the phone and is being promoted as more than a simple decorative gadget.

According to Honor, the small display can provide four levels of fill light, help users preview framing, and let them control shooting more directly. That gives the Honor phone accessory a practical role for selfies, vlogging, and rear-camera shooting where a second viewfinder can actually make a difference.

Honor is also positioning the accessory as a playful lifestyle add-on. The screen can cycle through user-selected visuals, switch wallpapers freely, and even double as a small remote control for tasks like scrolling short-video apps. In other words, it is being sold as part camera helper, part personalization tool.

The teaser ties into Honor’s broader camera pitch for the 600 series. Earlier announcements said the new phones would bring what Honor calls the industry’s only full-focal-length 4K Live shooting system, along with a first 7x telephoto 4K Live option, a front-facing 4K Live mode, and dual symmetrical AI zoom flash support.

Leaks and prior reports suggest the standard Honor 600 could feature a 6.57-inch 1.5K flat display, an 8600mAh battery with 80W wired charging, a 50MP front camera, a 200MP main rear sensor paired with a 12MP camera, and a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip. The Honor 600 Pro is expected to keep the same screen size, add an 8000mAh battery with 80W wired and 50W wireless charging, use a 200MP main camera plus 12MP and 50MP telephoto sensors, and run on a Dimensity 8550 processor.

For now, the accessory reveal is mainly a signal that Honor wants the 600 series to feel more interactive and creator-friendly at launch. The final pricing, compatibility details, and software features should become clearer once the phones are officially introduced.
