Honor has officially started previewing the Honor 600 series, and one of the main features it’s pushing is the display. The company says the lineup will use what it describes as a textbook-level eye-comfort display, with support for an industry-exclusive paper-like full-color mode.

Based on Honor’s teaser material, the display focus isn’t limited to a single niche use case. The full range is also said to include a sunlight mode designed for scenarios like outdoor photography and backlit use, where screen visibility can become more difficult. Honor is also claiming that every phone in the series supports 1-nit ultra-low brightness, which it says should make nighttime reading easier on the eyes.

There’s also a hardware accessory angle to the launch. IT Home notes that the Honor 600 series is expected to work with a magnetic secondary-screen accessory translated as the Magic Little Honor Screen. According to the report, that add-on will support four levels of supplemental lighting, framing preview, and camera controls.

Battery capacity is shaping up as another major part of the pitch. Honor says the series will use Qinghai Lake batteries in the 8000mAh class, with the top-tier model reportedly reaching 8600mAh, the Pro model using an 8000mAh unit, and the vitality-focused variant coming in at 7000mAh. If those figures hold, battery size could be one of the strongest practical selling points across the range, not just a spec reserved for the highest-end trim.

There’s still more to learn about the phones, but the early message is already pretty clear: Honor wants the Honor 600 series to stand out by combining a more comfortable viewing experience with very large batteries and a few accessory-driven camera features that go beyond a standard midrange refresh.
