vivo S60 Series Leak Points to Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, Dimensity 7500, and 7,200mAh Batteries

The vivo S60 series is scheduled to launch on May 29 at 7:30 p.m., and a new leak from blogger Experience More lays out the key hardware details for both phones in the lineup. If the information holds up, vivo is preparing two closely related models with large batteries, fast charging, and a very similar design language.

The standard vivo S60 series model is said to use a 6.59-inch 1260p flat display and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip. The camera setup reportedly includes a 50MP front camera, plus a rear system made up of a 50MP large-sensor main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP IMX882 3x periscope telephoto lens.

Battery and charging specs are also a major part of the leak. The vivo S60 is said to pair 90W wired charging with a 7,200mAh battery. On top of that, the phone is tipped to use a metal frame and glass back, come in at 157.52 x 74.33 x 7.92mm, and weigh 207g.

Feature-wise, the leak says the phone should also include an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance, stereo speakers, an infrared blaster, and an X-axis linear motor.

The so-called Vitality Edition keeps much of that formula but swaps in MediaTek’s Dimensity 7500 processor. It reportedly uses the same 6.59-inch 1260p flat screen, the same 50MP selfie camera, and the same 50MP main plus 8MP ultra-wide rear camera pairing. It also keeps 90W charging and a 7,200mAh battery, along with the same metal-frame-and-glass-back build. The listed dimensions are identical, while weight drops slightly to 199g.

According to the report, vivo has already revealed the series colors as Starlit Sea, Early Summer Green, and Midsummer Night, with actress Tian Xiwei serving as ambassador for the line. IT Home also says the new Starlit Sea finish uses a starburst-style lithography process that gives the rear panel a brighter summer-night look, while integrated sculpted glass and the metal frame are meant to improve both feel and visual texture.

None of these specifications are official yet, so they should still be treated as pre-launch information. Even so, the leak paints a fairly detailed picture of a pair of mid-to-upper-range phones centered on battery life, slim bodies, and familiar vivo styling.
