A well-known Weibo tech blogger, @DigitalChatStation, recently leaked that OPPO is currently testing a new mid-range device focused on delivering exceptionally long battery life.

According to the leak, this upcoming OPPO mid-range phone features a single-cell design with a rated capacity of 9,700mAh. The typical capacity value is expected to be around 10,000mAh, pushing it into the elite “10,000mAh monster battery” category. This is a massive milestone for battery life in smartphones.
This follows previous rumors from November 2025 where the blogger disclosed that Oga Group (which encompasses OPPO, OnePlus, and Realme) had put an ultra-large single-cell battery into trial production. That battery featured a rated energy of 36.27Wh, a rated capacity of 9,750mAh, and a typical capacity ranging between 9,900mAh and 10,000mAh.

While OPPO has previously equipped some of its budget-friendly models (such as the A-series and K-series) with large 6,500mAh to 7,000mAh batteries, this new device marks the brand’s first time pushing battery capacities close to the 10,000mAh threshold.
In terms of other specifications, the leak suggests this mid-range contender will be powered by an energy-efficient 4nm processor. It will boast a 1.5K flat screen featuring LTPS technology and large rounded corners (R-angles) for a modern, sleek aesthetic.
For structural durability, the phone’s body will be built using high-polymer drop-resistant materials, continuing OPPO’s successful design strategy of employing rugged diamond architectures widely seen across its mid-range and budget line-ups. As for the pricing, the blogger predicts that this new device will retail in the 2,000 RMB price range (approximately $280 USD), making it an incredibly competitive option for those prioritizing maximum uptime.
