Xiaomi is expected to introduce the Xiaomi 17T series on June 8, and a fresh leak has now outlined the main specifications for both models. The lineup is said to include the Xiaomi 17T and Xiaomi 17T Pro, with Xiaomi positioning the phones as all-around imaging flagships.

The leak comes from blogger Experience More, who shared the core hardware details ahead of the launch. As always with pre-release information, the final retail specifications should be confirmed by Xiaomi at the event, but the details line up with the brand’s recent focus on larger batteries, stronger cameras, and high-performance MediaTek chipsets.

For the standard Xiaomi 17T, the leak points to a MediaTek Dimensity 8500-Ultra processor, paired with LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.1 storage. That combination suggests Xiaomi is aiming for a phone that still feels fast in daily use while keeping some separation from the Pro model.

The regular model is said to use a 6.59-inch flat display with a 2756 x 1268 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. On the battery side, the phone reportedly carries a 7000mAh battery with 67W wired fast charging, plus 50W PPS support. Other listed features include dual speakers, a plastic middle frame, dual-frequency GPS, triple-frequency BeiDou positioning, and an IP68 rating.

The camera setup on the Xiaomi 17T is also fairly ambitious on paper. The leak lists a Light Hunter 800 main sensor with a 1/1.55-inch size, f/1.7 aperture, and optical image stabilization. It is expected to be joined by a 12MP ultra-wide camera, a 50MP JN5 5x telephoto camera with OIS, and a 32MP front camera.

The Xiaomi 17T Pro appears to be the stronger model in nearly every major area. It is reportedly powered by the Dimensity 9500 chipset, again paired with LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.1 storage. The phone is also said to use a larger 6.83-inch display with a 2772 x 1280 resolution and a faster 144Hz refresh rate.

Battery capacity is expected to stay at 7000mAh on the Pro model, but charging should be faster. According to the leak, the Xiaomi 17T Pro supports 100W wired charging, 100W PPS charging, and 50W wireless charging. The Pro version is also said to move up to a metal middle frame while keeping dual speakers, dual-frequency GPS, four-frequency BeiDou support, and IP68 protection.

The Pro camera system is where Xiaomi seems to be making the biggest push. The leak lists a Light Hunter 950 main sensor with a 1/1.31-inch size, f/1.67 aperture, and OIS. It should be joined by a 12MP ultra-wide camera, a 50MP JN5 5x telephoto camera with OIS, and a 32MP selfie camera.

Xiaomi has already confirmed several design and imaging details for the Chinese version of the 17T series. The company says the phones will use a four-curved wrapped middle-frame design, a 2D flat screen, an integrated metal camera deco, large rounded corners, and very narrow bezels.

The Xiaomi 17T Pro is also confirmed to use Leica-branded optics. Xiaomi says the phone will include a professional Leica triple-camera system with a Leica Summilux lens, a high-dynamic-range main camera based on the Light Hunter 950 sensor, a 13.5EV dynamic range, a Leica 5x periscope telephoto camera, and a Leica 120-degree ultra-wide camera.

Across the full Xiaomi 17T lineup, Xiaomi says users can expect a Leica 5x periscope telephoto camera. The phones are also expected to support 5x optical zoom, 10x lossless zoom, 120x UltraZoom, and 30cm telephoto macro shooting. For buyers who care about camera flexibility, that makes the telephoto system one of the most important parts of the series.

Xiaomi has also talked up the Pro model’s performance. The new Xiaomi 17T Pro is said to use the Dimensity 9500 flagship chip built on a 3nm process. Compared with the previous generation, Xiaomi claims GPU performance is up 33%, power consumption is down 42%, and ray-tracing rendering performance is up 199%.

For U.S. readers watching the global Android market, the leaked specs are notable because they show how aggressively Chinese flagship-style phones are moving on battery size and camera hardware. A 7000mAh battery, high-refresh display, Leica imaging hardware, and fast charging would make the Xiaomi 17T series a serious spec-sheet competitor if it reaches more markets.

Pricing, full configuration options, and broader availability have not been fully confirmed yet. Those details should become clearer after the official June 8 launch.
