OnePlus has officially introduced the OnePlus 15T, positioning it as a small-screen flagship for buyers who want high-end performance without moving to a much larger phone. According to the details summarized by IT Home, the device pairs a 6.32-inch body with flagship internals, aggressive refresh-rate claims, and one of the biggest batteries currently attached to a compact premium phone.

The launch pricing starts at 4,299 yuan for the 12GB + 256GB version. OnePlus is also offering 16GB + 256GB, 12GB + 512GB, 16GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 1TB trims, with list prices ranging up to 5,699 yuan before regional subsidies mentioned in the original report.

From a design standpoint, OnePlus says the phone uses its new Free Design language and a proprietary micro-arc oxidation process to keep the color treatment visually consistent from the metal frame to the rear panel. The company is offering three finishes: Pure Cocoa, Healing White Chocolate, and Relaxing Matcha. One of the highlighted details is a pure white metal frame option, which OnePlus describes as unique in the segment.

The hardware focus is pretty clear. The OnePlus 15T uses a narrow 71.82mm body, weighs about 194 grams, and adopts what the company calls a third-generation chip-level screen packaging process to achieve very slim 1.1mm symmetrical bezels. OnePlus also says the phone uses a balanced 50:50 weight distribution to avoid the top-heavy feel that sometimes shows up on camera-heavy devices.

Under the hood, the phone runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 platform, paired with LPDDR5X Ultra Pro memory and UFS 4.1 storage. OnePlus says the device also includes a 5,150mm² vapor chamber for cooling and posts an AnTuTu score above 4.45 million. For gaming, the company is promoting its new in-house gaming kernel and says the phone supports native 144FPS play in Honor of Kings with top image quality settings.

Display marketing is another major part of the launch. OnePlus claims this is the only compact phone in its class with a 165Hz high-refresh panel. It says the phone supports native 165Hz gameplay in Peacekeeper Elite, early support for a 165Hz mode in Valorant Mobile, and native 165Hz full-frame experiences across several categories of mainstream mobile titles.

The connectivity and input story also gets a lot of attention. OnePlus says the phone includes what it calls an esports triple-chip setup for stronger network grabbing, better wall penetration, and improved weak-signal performance. The company is also advertising proprietary touch-display synchronization technology and in-house algorithms aimed at faster touch response, more accurate input, and fewer dropped touches during gameplay.

Battery capacity may be the most eye-catching spec of all. The 7500mAh battery is unusually large for a compact flagship, and the phone also supports 100W wired charging, 50W wireless charging, global bypass charging, wired reverse charging, and wireless reverse charging. IT Home notes that OnePlus is claiming up to 10.3 hours of MOBA gaming from full charge to shutdown and up to 40.5 hours of Bilibili video playback.

The screen itself uses new flagship luminous materials and supports 1-nit hardware-level low brightness across scenarios, 3840Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, low blue light optimization, and an eye-protection certification highlighted in the source report. On the camera side, OnePlus says the phone uses its LUMO imaging system with a 50MP Sony main camera and a 3.5x periscope telephoto lens, with support for up to 7x optical-quality zoom, 4K live photos, multiple film styles, Master mode, and wide framing options.

OnePlus rounds things out with OPPO Crystal Shield glass, ultrasonic fingerprint recognition, IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K dust and water resistance claims, plus the new ColorOS 16 software. The software package is promised to get five years of maintenance covering four major version upgrades, along with new AI tools, game features, cross-device connectivity, Apple ecosystem compatibility features, and faster phone migration tools.
