vivo has officially revealed new photographer accessory kits for the upcoming vivo X300 Ultra and vivo X300s, giving a clearer picture of how seriously the company wants to push these phones as camera-first devices. The announcement came from vivo Communications Technology product manager Han Boxiao, who outlined two different packages with different priorities: one built for maximum capability and another aimed at lighter everyday shooting.
The more advanced bundle is the kit for the vivo X300 Ultra. According to vivo, it is designed around a more professional shooting experience and includes the new “Cannon 400” teleconverter, the new “Lipstick 200” teleconverter, a custom phone case, a decorative protective ring with a filter ring, a redesigned camera bag, a new shoulder strap, and an updated imaging grip.
That grip looks especially important to the package. Vivo says it adds a custom button and supports shortcuts such as gallery playback review, shutter control for video and photo capture, and quick switching for the teleconverter setup. It also carries a built-in 2300mAh battery and supports 55W fast charging, which means the accessory is doing more than just improving ergonomics.
The vivo X300s package is positioned as the lighter and more portable option. Vivo says that kit includes the new “Lipstick 200” teleconverter, a custom phone case, and a photographer shoulder strap. Compared with the Ultra package, it is clearly aimed at users who want better reach and easier carrying without turning the phone into a full modular shooting rig.
This announcement also ties directly into the camera story vivo has already been building around the X300 line. IT Home previously reported that the vivo X300 Ultra uses a “3+2” Zeiss lens system. The ultra-wide camera is said to be based on Sony’s 1/1.28-inch LYTIA 818 sensor, paired with third-generation vivo VCS bionic spectrum technology and Zeiss T* coating, with CIPA 6.0 stabilization and twice the equivalent light intake of the previous generation.
The report also says the vivo X300s will use a Dimensity 9500 processor, a 6.78-inch 1.5K 144Hz BOE Q10+ flat display, and a triple rear camera setup built around a 200-megapixel main sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 50-megapixel periscope lens. Other expected hardware includes symmetrical stereo speakers, a large vibration motor, and a 7100mAh battery with 90W wired charging.
vivo has already confirmed that its spring X series launch event will take place in Lijiang, Yunnan on March 30 at 7:00 p.m. Based on the current teaser cycle and leak trail, the company is expected to launch the vivo X300 Ultra, vivo X300s, and Pad6 Pro at that event, with retail availability scheduled for April 3. For anyone following mobile imaging hardware closely, these accessory kits make it pretty clear that vivo wants the X300 family to feel more like a flexible camera system than a standard flagship phone lineup.
