vivo officially introduced the vivo X300s at its spring product event, adding another imaging-focused flagship to the company’s lineup. The phone is built around MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 chip and vivo’s own Blueprint Imaging Chip V3+, while also leaning heavily into camera features, display upgrades, and creator-oriented shooting tools.

Pricing starts at 4,999 yuan for the 12GB + 256GB version. The 12GB + 512GB model is priced at 5,499 yuan, the 16GB + 512GB version costs 5,999 yuan, and the 16GB + 1TB model reaches 6,999 yuan. vivo is also offering a 16GB + 1TB photographer kit edition for 7,999 yuan, while the new Teleconverter G2 accessory is listed separately at 999 yuan.

On the front, the vivo X300s uses a 6.78-inch flat flagship display. vivo says it is the first X-series phone to support a 144Hz refresh rate, and the panel uses 8T LTPO technology with Q10 Plus light-emitting materials. The screen also supports 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming at full brightness, full-brightness DC dimming, a global peak brightness of up to 2,000 nits, and 100% P3 wide color gamut coverage. vivo also says it supports native 144FPS gameplay with extreme graphics settings in Honor of Kings.

The phone comes in Titanium Black, Silver White, Film Green, and Dreamcore Purple. Its rear camera module uses a large circular layout, while the Film Green version gets a two-tone back design and the other colors use a more uniform finish.

Camera hardware is one of the main selling points. vivo says the vivo X300s includes a 200MP Samsung HPB main camera with a 1/1.4-inch sensor size and Zeiss certification. The telephoto camera uses Sony’s LYTIA 602 sensor, also carries Zeiss APO certification, and supports the same CIPA 4.5-level stabilization rating listed for the main camera. vivo also says the phone debuts Zoom Flashlight II with upgraded LED materials that improve color rendering by 14 percent, while offering more than ten film-style looks.

Performance is driven by the Dimensity 9500 platform, and vivo says the phone also integrates the same Monster Engine branding used by iQOO. According to the company, that includes a predictive scheduler and acceleration features aimed at sustained performance. Audio and haptics also get attention here: vivo says the phone uses its most advanced X-series symmetric dual-speaker Pro setup to date, built around two 1511 speaker units in a 1:1 symmetrical design, plus the strongest custom vibration motor the X series has used so far, with vibration output improved by 32 percent.

Software and shooting features are another big part of the pitch. vivo says the phone debuts Blueprint Palette, which lets users tune image filters more freely, save them, share them, and remix them later. It also introduces an AI Creation Camera feature designed for styles such as cosplay photography and Hanfu travel shoots, with image processing applied during capture instead of only after the shot. vivo says that approach is meant to make output more stable while also keeping facial rendering more natural.

Alongside the phone, vivo also launched the Teleconverter G2. The accessory weighs 153 grams, measures 96mm in length, and uses a 15-element optical structure that vivo says meets Zeiss APO standards. According to the company, it can support 200mm portrait video capture while staying compact enough to carry around easily. Taken together, the launch positions the vivo X300s as a camera-heavy flagship that is trying to balance top-end imaging hardware, fast display performance, and lifestyle-focused shooting tools in one package.
