Apple Maps has rolled out a new 3D experience for F1 Miami ahead of the Miami Grand Prix, which is scheduled to begin on May 3. The update is designed to give fans a more immersive view of the venue while also adding practical navigation information for people attending the event in person.
According to a report from Cult of Mac, the 3D view highlights major landmarks around the Miami International Autodrome, including the grandstands, marina area, finish line, and pit buildings. The pit complex itself is modeled in greater detail, with race-car elements also reflected in the rendering.
To access the feature, users can search for “F1 Miami” inside Apple Maps, tap the result, and switch to 3D mode to get an overhead view of the circuit and surrounding facilities.
Apple has also added event-focused wayfinding details intended to help people on site. The map now marks race-entry points, bridges, restrooms, and water stations, making it easier for spectators to move around the venue during race weekend.
Alongside the map update, Apple is also promoting two local guides tied to the event. One is a Miami F1 race week local guide focused on nearby dining and shopping, while the other highlights recommended places around the circuit for watching the race.
