Rumored iQOO Dimensity 9500 performance phone may arrive in May with a 6.83-inch 2K flat display

A new leak shared by well-known tipster Digital Chat Station suggests that another Dimensity 9500 performance-focused phone is on the way, and the device is widely expected to land under the iQOO brand. The report says the launch is currently penciled in for May, though the exact product name still appears to be unsettled.

The leaked configuration points to a phone built around a large 6.83-inch 2K flat display, which is described as a standout trait for this model. Power is also a major part of the rumor. The device is said to use a single-cell battery rated around 7,845mAh, with the final marketed capacity possibly reaching roughly 8,000mAh.

Other rumored hardware details include a metal frame, a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, and both IP68 and IP69 protection. The main rear camera may use a 200MP sensor, although that part of the spec sheet has not been fully locked in yet according to the source.

People following the leak have already started guessing where the phone could fit in iQOO’s lineup. Some commenters believe it may end up as the iQOO Neo11 Pro, while others think it could be tied to the iQOO 15T instead. Right now, those names are still speculation rather than confirmed branding.

The same source also addressed a few secondary details. The phone is not expected to include a built-in cooling fan, which helps separate it from some gaming-oriented performance models. When asked whether the screen would reach 165Hz, the tipster reportedly said it looks more like 144Hz for now, though that part still needs confirmation.

For context, IT Home notes that the currently available iQOO Neo11 launched in October last year with a 6.82-inch 2K 144Hz display and a Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, starting at 2,599 yuan. That comparison makes this new leaked device look like a potentially more battery-heavy and MediaTek-centered follow-up aimed at buyers who care about screen size, endurance, and flagship-level performance.
