A fresh report suggests the Honor 600 series is getting very close to its China smartphone launch, with new filing details pointing to six official color options and engineering-test information hinting at a notably large battery phone direction for the domestic versions.

According to information shared by tipster Digital Chat Station and cited by IT Home, the China-bound Honor 600 lineup has been filed in six colors: Good Luck Orange, Lucky Star, Jasmine White, Green Apple, Feather Blue, and Obsidian Black. That does not confirm final retail branding in every market, but it does suggest Honor is preparing a broad visual lineup for release.

The same leak says the international version of the series uses a 6.57-inch flat LTPS display with 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel is also said to feature extremely narrow and symmetrical bezels measuring about 0.98 mm on all four sides, along with 3840Hz PWM dimming.
On the performance side, the leak claims the international model runs on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. Camera details mentioned in the report include a 50MP front-facing camera, plus a rear setup built around a 200MP 1/1.4-inch main sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP 3.5x periscope telephoto unit.
Other hardware details tied to the international version include a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, a metal frame, and IP68, IP69, and IP69K dust and water resistance. Taken together, that would place the phone firmly in upper-tier territory if the final retail hardware matches the testing configuration described in the leak.
What stands out most for the China model, though, is the battery claim. The source says the domestic engineering units are being tested with capacities in roughly the 8500mAh to 9000mAh range, which would represent a major step up from the battery size already used on the overseas variants.
IT Home also noted that listings on Honor's overseas website show the international Honor 600 and Honor 600 Pro with 7000mAh typical battery capacity and support for up to 20V/4A fast charging. If the China version really does move significantly higher, the difference could become one of the lineup's main selling points.
For now, this is still pre-release information rather than a full official launch announcement. Even so, the combination of filing details, color information, and unusually large battery testing makes the Honor 600 series one of the more interesting upcoming devices to watch in China's smartphone market.
