OnePlus has officially confirmed that the OnePlus Nord CE6 Lite will go on sale in India on May 7. The phone is aimed at the affordable-to-midrange segment, but it’s leaning hard on two headline features: a Dimensity 7400 Apex chip and a very large 7000mAh battery.
According to the company, the device uses a 144Hz high-refresh-rate display. OnePlus also says the 8GB + 256GB version scores more than 1,030,000 points in AnTuTu V11. For gaming, the phone is said to support 90fps modes in titles such as BGMI and Call of Duty: Mobile, while lighter games like Subway Surfers can reportedly run at up to 144fps.
Battery life is another major part of the pitch. OnePlus says the 7000mAh battery can still retain 80% of its original capacity after 1,600 charge cycles. On the camera side, the phone is equipped with a 50MP rear main camera and supports 4K video recording.
Software is also up to date. The handset ships with OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16 out of the box. As for pricing, IT Home says the expected price should come in below 25,000 Indian rupees, which puts the phone squarely in the value-focused range for buyers who want a big battery without stepping into flagship pricing.
Taken together, the OnePlus Nord CE6 Lite looks like a battery-first release with high-refresh gaming claims, a recent MediaTek platform, and current Android software. If the final pricing lands where expected, it could be one of OnePlus’s more aggressive mainstream launches in this segment.
