vivo S50t Launches Quietly With UFS 3.1 and a Limited-Time Starting Price of 3,199 Yuan

vivo has quietly added the vivo S50t to its lineup, positioning it as a close sibling to the S50 that first appeared in December 2025. The biggest change is storage: instead of UFS 4.1, the new model moves to UFS 3.1. Pricing starts at 3,299 yuan, with a limited-time promotional price beginning at 3,199 yuan.

The 12GB RAM and 512GB storage version is listed at 3,299 yuan and drops to the temporary 3,199-yuan launch price, while the 16GB RAM and 512GB version is priced at 3,599 yuan. vivo is keeping the rest of the positioning largely in line with the S50, so this looks more like a quiet storage-tier adjustment than a full redesign.

On the design side, the vivo S50t is offered in four colors: Confession, Easy Blue, Inspiration Purple, and Deep Space Black. It uses a 6.59-inch display and a body that measures 7.49mm thick in the purple and black finishes. vivo also says the phone uses a satin soft-light glass back and an aviation-grade aluminum middle frame with generously rounded corners.

Camera positioning remains a major selling point. The phone includes what vivo describes as a flagship-style telephoto camera built around a large Sony IMX882 sensor with a 1/1.95-inch format. It also features the company’s Master Live camera motion tools, including highlight slow-motion effects that combine zoom and slow-motion capture, along with several Live effects and filters.

Internally, the phone runs on Qualcomm’s third-generation Snapdragon 8s chip, paired with LPDDR5X memory and UFS 3.1 storage. It also includes an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, an eye-care display with hardware-level 1-nit low brightness support, 4320Hz PWM dimming, and hardware low-blue-light technology. Power comes from a 6,500mAh battery with 90W wired fast charging, giving the vivo S50t a feature set that still looks strong even with the storage downgrade.
