Xiaomi has posted a fresh roundup of Xiaomi HyperOS optimization progress, outlining a series of bug fixes that affect several recent phones and tablets. In the latest community update, Xiaomi staff said issues reported by users on the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max running version 3.0.306.0 have already been improved, including failed original-photo downloads in certain situations and app crashes when selecting photos.
The update also points to a wider batch of fixes across the lineup rather than a single-device patch. Xiaomi says it has been addressing a scoring display issue in Phone Manager on the Xiaomi 17 Ultra with version 3.0.304.0, along with several separate problems on the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max. Those include faster-than-expected battery drain on version 3.0.305.0 and lag in password management on version 3.0.304.0.
Beyond that, Xiaomi listed an occasional no-response issue when tapping the Xiaomi Super Island on the Xiaomi 17 Pro with version 3.0.304.0. It also says a gallery crash affecting the Xiaomi 17 on version 3.0.304.0 has been optimized. These notes suggest Xiaomi is continuing to push targeted maintenance updates across its newer flagship models instead of waiting for a single large feature release.
Other devices appear in the latest fix list as well. Xiaomi says it has worked on a Phone Manager freeze during junk cleanup on the Xiaomi 15S Pro running version 3.0.301.0. It also addressed a problem on the Xiaomi 14 with version 3.0.302.0 where text inside photos in the gallery could not be recognized in some cases.
REDMI hardware is included too. According to Xiaomi, the latest progress report also covers a Baidu input method crash on the REDMI K Pad 2 running version 3.0.303.0. Taken together, the new update shows Xiaomi using its public status posts to document smaller but practical quality-of-life fixes, especially around gallery behavior, battery performance, input stability, and system utility tools.
