A new vivo X Fold6 rumor from tipster Digital Chat Station says an upcoming foldable engineering sample built around Dimensity 9500 is being tested with a softer rounded-corner design, a flat-screen approach, and a large circular rear camera module. The leak also mentions a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

On the imaging side, the prototype is said to use a 200MP main camera, alongside a 50MP ultra-wide camera and a 50MP periscope telephoto unit with roughly 3x zoom. If that configuration makes it into the final device, vivo would be aiming for a very high-end camera stack in its next large foldable.

The same tipster had previously shared what was believed to be an early vivo X Fold6 specification outline on April 30. That earlier leak pointed to an 8.02-inch 2K UTG inner display, a 6.51-inch outer screen, dual 20MP front-facing cameras, a battery in the 7,000mAh class, wireless charging support, and top-tier water resistance.

Put together, the new and older leaks sketch out a foldable that could push several flagship areas at once: a large battery, a high-resolution main sensor, a periscope zoom camera, and a next-generation Dimensity 9500 chip. There’s no official confirmation yet, but the package sounds like a major update if the engineering sample stays close to the retail phone.
For context, IT Home notes that the current vivo X Fold5 launched in June 2025 with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, a relatively light 217g body, a 6,000mAh battery, and a starting price of 6,999 yuan. That makes the rumored vivo X Fold6 look like a more aggressive follow-up focused on imaging, endurance, and premium foldable hardware.
