Samsung’s Galaxy S26 FE appears to be moving into an earlier stage of internal testing, with a new report saying firmware for the phone has already shown up on Samsung’s OTA servers. The build is listed as S741NKSU0AZE5 and is tied to model number SM-S741, with SM-S741N identified as the Korean version.

The same device has also surfaced on Geekbench, where it posted a single-core score of 2426 and a multi-core score of 8004 under version 6.2.2 of the benchmark. The listing points to Samsung’s 10-core Exynos 2500 chip and 8GB of RAM.
Based on the reported CPU layout, the Exynos 2500 uses a 1+2+5+2 design made up of one 3.30GHz Cortex-X925 core, two 2.74GHz Cortex-A725 cores, five additional 2.36GHz Cortex-A725 cores, and two 1.80GHz Cortex-A520 efficiency cores.
If Samsung follows its usual Fan Edition schedule, the Galaxy S26 FE would likely arrive in September or October. That timing lines up with the current firmware testing window, and it also matches the pattern seen with the Galaxy S25 FE, which reportedly leaked in firmware form before its official September 2025 debut.
Another detail in the report points to Samsung’s cost balancing strategy for the device. Citing earlier coverage from The Elec, the article says Samsung may use a CSOT display panel in the Galaxy S26 FE as memory prices continue to rise across the industry. That could help Samsung keep pricing under control while still pushing the FE line forward.
