HMD has started selling the HMD Vibe 2 5G in overseas markets, with the phone positioned as an entry-level model that still brings a fairly large battery and a high refresh rate display.

Up front, the phone uses a 6.75-inch IPS LCD panel with a 720P+ resolution and support for a 120Hz refresh rate. It runs on the Unisoc T8200, a 6nm chip built with two Cortex-A76 performance cores and six Cortex-A55 efficiency cores.

Battery life is one of the headline features here. The HMD Vibe 2 5G includes a 6000mAh battery and supports up to 18W charging over USB-C. On the camera side, HMD lists a 50MP main rear camera, though the company hasn’t detailed the resolution of the secondary rear sensor.
The rest of the spec sheet includes a 8MP selfie camera, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and IP64 protection. The phone ships with Android 16 and HMD says it will provide two years of security updates.
For pricing, the device is now on sale in India starting at 10,999 rupees for the 4GB + 64GB model, while the 4GB + 128GB version comes in at 11,999 rupees. For buyers looking at low-cost 5G phones, the combination of a 6000mAh battery, Unisoc T8200, and 120Hz display is the main story.
