Vivo S60 Series Debuts in China Featuring massive 7,200mAh Blue Ocean Battery and 4K Live Photos

Vivo has officially kicked off sales for the S60 series in China, targeting style-conscious consumers who demand top-tier battery endurance and advanced camera features. The standard vivo S60 launch pricing starts at 3,599 RMB (approximately $495 USD), while the more affordable vivo S60 Yuanqi Edition is priced starting at 2,899 RMB (approximately $400 USD).

The headline feature of the series is the massive 7200mAh Blue Ocean battery, which utilizing vivo’s ultra-thin silicon-carbon battery technology. Remarkably, despite the massive capacity, the phone measures only 7.92mm thick and weighs just 199g. The battery supports 90W wired fast charging, ensuring users spend minimal time plugged into a wall outlet.

Photography is another major highlight, with vivo emphasizing the series’ capability to capture vivo S60 4K Live photos. This function produces highly stable, sharp, and smooth motion captures. It includes creative features like “Cold White Portrait Live,” a “Live Palette” for real-time adjustments to color temperature, tone, and saturation, and “4K Starlight Live” which automatically adds sparkling highlights to reflective zones in photos.

On the hardware side, the standard vivo S60 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, while the Yuanqi Edition is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 7500. Both models feature a 6.59-inch 1260p 144Hz flat OLED display, a 50MP front-facing camera, a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, IP68/IP69 dust and water resistance, stereo speakers, and an infrared blaster. The standard S60 camera setup includes a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP IMX882 3x sub-screen periscope telephoto lens.
