OnePlus Turbo 6X Pro official specifications teaser

OnePlus has confirmed the main specifications of the OnePlus Turbo 6X Pro ahead of its official launch. The OnePlus Turbo 6X series is scheduled to debut on June 10 at 2:30 p.m. in China, and the Pro model is being positioned as a high-end value phone with an unusually large battery and rugged protection ratings.

The headline feature is the phone’s 8000mAh battery. That capacity is far above what most mainstream smartphones offer, and it suggests OnePlus is targeting users who care about long screen-on time, gaming endurance, travel use, and fewer daily charging stops. Large-battery phones have become a major theme in the Chinese Android market, and the Turbo 6X Pro appears to continue that trend aggressively.

Charging speed is also part of the pitch. OnePlus says the Turbo 6X Pro supports 80W Super Flash Charge, which should help offset the longer charging time that can come with a battery this large. The final real-world charging curve will depend on OnePlus’ software and thermal strategy, but 80W charging should make the phone more practical for users who top up quickly during the day.

For performance, the phone uses MediaTek’s Dimensity 7400 SUPER processor. OnePlus has not yet shared every configuration detail, but the chip choice places the phone in the performance-focused midrange category rather than the ultra-premium flagship segment. That makes sense for a device aimed at the “1,500 yuan class” in China.

The company also says the Turbo 6X Pro will ship with ColorOS 16 and promises six years of smooth operation. That statement is likely meant to reassure buyers who plan to keep the phone for several years. Long-term performance has become an important selling point for Android phones, especially in midrange price bands where buyers may be more sensitive to durability and value.

The display is listed as a 1.5K Samsung eye-protection screen. OnePlus says it supports full-brightness DC-like dimming, a feature aimed at reducing flicker discomfort for some users. While the company has not yet provided every display metric, the combination of 1.5K resolution and eye-comfort tuning suggests the panel is one of the phone’s key upgrades.

Durability is another unusually strong part of the spec sheet. OnePlus lists IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K protection, along with seven military-standard tests. If implemented well, that would make the Turbo 6X Pro more resistant to water, dust, and harsh use than many phones in its price range. For buyers who work outdoors or simply want a less fragile daily phone, this could be a major attraction.

The OnePlus Turbo 6X Pro will be available in two colors: “Heart’s Desire Orange” and “Leaping Horse Black,” based on the Chinese color names. The orange option appears to be the more distinctive of the two, while the black version should appeal to users who prefer a simpler look.

OnePlus has not yet disclosed the full camera specifications, memory options, official price, or international availability. Those details should arrive at the June 10 launch. For now, the confirmed hardware points to a phone built around battery life, fast charging, a sharp display, and unusually serious protection ratings rather than a pure flagship camera or chipset race.

For U.S. readers, the Turbo 6X Pro is also a good example of where Chinese midrange Android phones are heading in 2026: bigger batteries, faster charging, tougher bodies, and more premium displays at lower price points. Whether this particular model reaches markets outside China remains to be seen.
