DJI Power 140W GaN Charger Packs Three Ports and a 7A OLED Cable

DJI has moved into high-power wall charging with the DJI Power 140W, the company’s first high-efficiency GaN charger. The new charger was officially released on June 8 and is aimed at people who want one compact adapter for laptops, tablets, phones, and DJI gear.

The headline spec is straightforward: up to 140W of output, three charging ports, support for the PD 3.1 fast-charging standard, and a bundled 7A OLED cable that can show charging data in real time. In China, the product opened for pre-order at 209 yuan.

Design-wise, the DJI Power 140W keeps the clean, minimal look DJI usually uses for its accessories. The Chinese-standard version has foldable prongs, which should make it easier to pack in a bag. The body measures about 68.3 x 32.2 x 64 mm and weighs roughly 245 grams.

The charger includes two USB-C ports and one USB-A port. Both USB-C1 and USB-C2 can deliver up to 140W and support PD 3.1. The USB-A port tops out at 33W. When only one USB-C port is in use, the charger can provide the full 140W output, enough for many laptops as well as tablets and phones that support fast charging.

Multi-device charging is where the product gets more practical. The DJI Power 140W supports dynamic power allocation when multiple ports are used at the same time. With both USB-C ports active, the charger can split power in combinations such as 100W + 35W, 35W + 100W, or 65W + 65W. When all three ports are working, total output can still reach up to 140W, with the charger automatically adjusting power based on the connected devices.

The included cable is also part of the appeal. DJI bundles a 7A OLED cable that supports up to 240W power transmission. It has a built-in OLED screen that can show power, voltage, and current, so users can quickly check what’s happening during charging. The cable also includes an E-Marker smart chip, which is important for high-power USB-C charging.

DJI says the charger has built-in intelligent temperature control and overheating protection. It also supports 100V-240V wide-voltage input, making it suitable for office use, travel, and charging several devices at once.

For U.S. readers, the most interesting part is that DJI is treating charging accessories as part of its wider device ecosystem, not just as basic add-ons. A compact GaN charger with two full-power USB-C ports and a visible power-readout cable could be useful for people carrying a laptop, phone, camera gear, or portable power accessories.

The product is currently listed for pre-order in China. DJI has not provided U.S. pricing or wider availability details in the source report, so buyers outside China will need to wait for local launch information.
