A new leak from Ice Universe appears to show three upcoming Samsung foldables: the Galaxy Z Flip8, Galaxy Z Fold8, and Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra.
The source shared two images on June 12. One image appears to show screen protectors or front outlines for the devices, while the other shows the foldable phone bodies themselves. Based on the look of the hardware, these may be dummy units or prototypes rather than final retail phones.
Even with that caveat, the images give an early look at where Samsung may be taking its next foldable lineup. The Galaxy Z Flip8 and Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra seem to continue the general design language of their predecessors instead of switching to a dramatic new style.

That does not mean nothing changes. The leak suggests Samsung may be focusing more on refinement, including details such as narrower bezels and a cleaner front appearance. Those kinds of updates can matter a lot on foldables, where every millimeter affects how the device feels in hand.
The most notable model in the leak may be the regular Galaxy Z Fold8. It is described as Samsung’s first wide-style foldable phone, with an outer display that is shorter than the Fold8 Ultra but much wider than the usual narrow Fold layout.
According to the report, that wider approach gives the unfolded device a 7.6-inch display with a near-tablet feel and a 4:3 aspect ratio. If accurate, it could make the standard Fold8 more comfortable for reading, multitasking, browsing, and app layouts that prefer a broader canvas.

That would also create clearer separation between the regular Fold8 and the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra. Rather than simply offering one bigger or more expensive version, Samsung could use different shapes and screen proportions to target different foldable users.
For now, the images should still be treated carefully. Dummy units and prototypes can reflect planned dimensions, but final materials, bezels, camera details, and hinge tuning can still change before launch.
Still, the leak is interesting because it points to a broader foldable strategy. The Galaxy Z Flip8 may stay close to Samsung’s proven clamshell formula, while the Fold8 and Fold8 Ultra could split into two more distinct large-screen options.
If Samsung really does introduce a wider Galaxy Z Fold8, it may answer one of the long-running complaints about the Fold line: the outer screen has often felt too narrow for comfortable everyday phone use. A wider design could make the next generation feel less like a compromise and more like a true phone-tablet hybrid.
