A new accessory tied to the upcoming Honor 600 series has surfaced online, and it looks like Honor is experimenting with something more playful than a typical phone add-on. The leaked product is described as a magnetic mini screen that can attach to the phone and serve several different roles depending on how it’s used.
According to the leak, the accessory can work as a selfie companion, a portable fill light for shooting, a trendy digital badge, and even a decorative charm. It can reportedly rotate through user-selected visuals and switch wallpapers freely, while multiple bloggers also claim it may support long-form video playback.
The accessory lines up with Honor’s broader push around imaging on the 600 series. Earlier reports said the lineup will offer what the brand calls the industry’s only full focal-length 4K Live experience in its class, including a debut 7x ultra-telephoto 4K Live capability and front-facing 4K Live support for vlogging scenarios.
Honor has already confirmed that the 600 series will launch on May 28, and pre-reservations are open. If this leaked mini screen reaches the final product lineup, it could become one of the more distinctive accessories in the midrange phone space, especially for users who care about social shooting and personalized device styling.
