Honor WIN Turbo Launches With a Dimensity 8500 Turbo Chip, 10,000mAh Battery, and 80W Charging

Honor WIN Turbo is now official, and the phone is clearly built around three headline specs: a Dimensity 8500 Turbo chipset, a huge 10,000mAh battery, and launch pricing that starts well below its list price in China.

Honor announced the device at a launch event and said the phone starts at 2,699 yuan during its introductory sale period, down from a suggested retail price of 3,299 yuan. The lineup begins with a 12GB + 256GB version, steps up to 12GB + 512GB, and tops out at 16GB + 512GB.

On the front, the phone uses a 6.79-inch flat LTPS OLED display with 1.5K resolution. Honor says the panel supports peak brightness of up to 8,000 nits and 3,840Hz risk-free dimming, which positions it as a high-spec screen aimed at both visibility and eye-comfort marketing.

Performance comes from MediaTek’s Dimensity 8500 Turbo platform, paired with as much as 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. That setup suggests Honor is targeting users who want a performance-focused handset with enough thermal and memory headroom for extended gaming, multitasking, and long sessions away from a charger.

The biggest talking point is battery size. Honor has equipped the phone with a 10,000mAh battery, which is far beyond what is still normal in mainstream smartphones. Charging is rated at up to 80W, and the phone also supports 27W reverse charging, making it useful as a backup power source for accessories or other devices.

Honor says the WIN Turbo comes in three finishes translated roughly as Quick Queue, Called Win, and Fearless Blue. The phone also carries IP68, IP69, and IP69K dust and water resistance ratings, adding another layer of durability to a spec sheet that is already unusually aggressive for this price range.

Put together, the device looks like a battery-first performance phone that wants to stand out in a crowded market through sheer endurance, practical charging flexibility, and solid mid-to-upper-tier hardware. Even before long-term testing, the formula is obvious: Honor WIN Turbo is trying to win attention by making compromises feel less visible than that giant battery number.
