Honor X80 Pro Max Leak Points to Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 and an 11,000mAh Battery

A new leak has outlined several key specifications for the rumored Honor X80 Pro Max, a phone that may be announced later this month. The information comes from the Chinese tech blogger Digital Chat Station, who posted details about the device’s colors, design direction, display, processor, battery, and charging setup.

According to the leak, the Honor X80 Pro Max will be offered in four color options: Lightning Red, Black Armor, Moon Shadow White, and Vitality Orange. The phone is also said to use what the source describes as a flagship-grade industrial design, suggesting Honor may be trying to give this model a more premium look than a typical midrange device.

The leaked hardware list centers on a very large 11000mAh battery. If accurate, that would make endurance one of the phone’s biggest selling points, especially for users who care more about battery life than ultra-thin design.

Charging is also reportedly strong for such a large battery. The phone is said to support 90W charging, which would help reduce the downside of carrying an unusually high-capacity battery pack inside the device.

On the performance side, the Honor X80 Pro Max is tipped to use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 processor. That positions the device more as a long-battery-life performance phone than as a full flagship built around Qualcomm’s highest-end Snapdragon 8-series chips.

The front of the device is expected to use a 6.78-inch OLED panel with a 2788 × 1280 resolution. That resolution suggests Honor may be aiming for a sharper display experience while still keeping the phone in a practical mainstream size range.

The leak also mentions “full-level” waterproofing and a drop-resistant body. Those details, combined with the huge battery, point to a phone designed for durability and long daily use rather than only slimness or light weight.

Digital Chat Station also hinted at what the “flagship ID design” might refer to after a user asked for more details in the comments. However, the blogger did not respond to another user’s separate question about a so-called Mate 90 preview, so that part of the discussion remains unrelated and unconfirmed.

For now, Honor has not officially confirmed the Honor X80 Pro Max specifications. Still, the combination of a Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chip, 90W charging, OLED display, rugged body claims, and an 11000mAh battery makes this leak notable if Honor is indeed preparing a launch this month.
