Honor X80 Pro Max and X70 Pro Max Rumored for Late-June Debut

Honor may be getting ready to refresh its X-series lineup later this month, with new leaks pointing to both the Honor X80 Pro Max and the Honor X70 Pro Max.

Chinese tech blogger @旺仔百事通 said today that the two phones are “on the way” and should appear in the second half of June. The post did not give an exact launch date, but it suggests Honor is close to showing the next step for its big-battery midrange lineup.

According to the blogger, the Honor X80 Pro Max will focus on durability, rugged build quality, and long battery life. The phone is expected to use an extra-large battery, support 90W wired charging, and offer 27W wired reverse charging. The same leak also points to high-level water and dust resistance plus a body designed to better survive drops.

Earlier reports from blogger @数码闲聊站 gave a more detailed look at the Honor X80 Pro Max hardware. The phone is said to come in four colors: Lightning Red, Xuanjia Black, Moon Shadow White, and Vitality Orange. It is also described as using a “flagship-level” industrial design rather than a basic budget-phone look.

On the front, the Honor X80 Pro Max is rumored to carry a 6.78-inch OLED display with a 2788 x 1280 resolution. Inside, the phone is expected to use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 mobile platform, paired with a huge 11000mAh battery and 90W charging support.

That battery size is the standout detail. An 11000mAh battery would put the device far above most mainstream flagship phones and near the top tier of current smartphone battery capacity. For users who care more about endurance than thinness, that could be the whole point of the device.

The Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 mentioned in the leak is Qualcomm’s newer midrange mobile platform. Its predecessor, the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1, was released in 2022, so this would position the phone as a modern midrange device rather than a flagship-performance model.

The rumored protection rating is also worth noting. The phrase “full-level water and dust resistance” usually refers to IP68-class protection, meaning a device can resist dust completely and survive submersion in water under defined test conditions. The exact rating still needs official confirmation from Honor.

Details for the Honor X70 Pro Max are much thinner right now. The source report says there is no official or highly reliable spec sheet yet, but the phone is expected to sit slightly below the X80 Pro Max while launching in the same general product cycle.

For U.S. readers, the bigger takeaway is that Chinese phone makers are still pushing battery capacity far beyond what is common in phones sold through major U.S. carriers. If the leak is accurate, Honor’s next X-series phones could be aimed squarely at buyers who want long runtime, fast charging, and a tougher build instead of a slim premium design.

Honor has not officially confirmed the final specifications, price, or launch timing. Until it does, these details should be treated as leaks, but the repeated reports make the Honor X80 Pro Max one of the more interesting large-battery phones to watch this month.
