Honor YOYO becomes the first Android assistant to adopt DeepSeek-V4

Honor YOYO is now the first Android AI assistant in its segment to integrate the DeepSeek-V4 large language model, according to an announcement from Honor.

Honor says the upgrade brings three core improvements to YOYO: stronger overall performance, longer context handling, and higher reasoning efficiency. In practical terms, that should help the assistant keep up better in longer conversations while responding more intelligently to multi-step requests.

The rollout isn’t universal just yet. Honor notes that early access is available for devices running YOYO agent version 90.10.28.041 or later together with MagicOS 8.0 or above.

The company didn’t share a broader feature breakdown in this announcement, but the update is another sign that major Android brands are moving quickly to bring newer on-device and cloud-backed AI experiences into their own assistant ecosystems.
