Meizu Says Phone Support, Repairs, and Security Updates Are Still Ongoing image 1

Meizu says its Meizu phone support plan is staying in place, even as the company continues through its broader strategic transition. In a fresh official statement, the brand said after-sales coverage for its phone lineup remains active and that users can still expect the same core support experience.

According to the source report, Meizu specifically said that official after-sales service, repair coverage, and security updates for its mobile systems will continue. The message was framed around the current 618 shopping season, with the company emphasizing that buyers can still purchase Meizu products without worrying that support will suddenly disappear.

The company also pointed back to its February 27 announcement, when it said it would pause self-developed new phone hardware projects in China while actively exploring partnerships with third-party hardware companies. At the time, Meizu also stressed that its existing business would not be affected and that user rights would continue to be protected.

That same position was repeated again here. Meizu said products such as its smartphones, AI glasses, and PANDAER items will continue to be sold normally, and that service policies and user benefits in currently operating Meizu stores will remain unchanged.

For existing users, the more important part is the service promise itself. Meizu said its Flyme and after-sales service teams will keep supporting current customers through official repair channels and ongoing system safety maintenance, rather than winding those resources down.

In short, the update doesn’t introduce a new product, but it does try to calm concerns from buyers and current owners who may have been unsure what Meizu’s restructuring would mean for long-term device support.
